Jack’s Point on a sunny day … or, the road to nirvana?
Well, we were right about one thing! A lot of work happens when you’re not watching. I suppose having 3 weeks to think about something *other* than construction meant that we could be pleasantly surprised by how much progress our builder made while we were gone. It also meant that I wasn’t distracting him with questions … which I won’t admit to, but it may be possible. Maybe.
From a concrete slab to a house-to-be! It’s a lot of fun to watch the house going up, even if it’s slower than I would like. Once you see the walls, it really starts to feel lke a house. I still couldn’t get a feel for the size of it, as just a skeleton, but walking across what will be the main living space and seeing our view … there’s nothing like it.
