I spent nearly as much time in Dublin as I did in London, thanks to a key office located in the city center. My first trip there, ironically, wasn’t for work – I had coincidentally planned a long weekend there at the same time that my parents were visiting as well. Hooray for family time!
The Irish are an incredibly friendly group of people. I rarely feel unsafe in the cities where I travel, but in Dublin there was an even greater sense of community that I wasn’t expecting. I’m certainly grateful for the warm welcome and the smiles as I walked past storefronts and restaurants! In retrospect, I wonder if I looked like an American tourist?
For good measure, I stopped by the Google office for a quick snap. Gotta say hi to my friends!
